Step 1 - Avatar Development - The Foundation For Fit
Using 3D technology I can create a base size avatar modified to reflect your brand's size chart, or you may wish to use an avatar available from other sources. Avatar options include;
Clo3D Avatar - limited modification options - most cost effective
Daz3D Avatars - greater modification options (see video below) - more work involved, but better to achieve the desired shape and size of your avatar
Alvanon/Figure Forms - Industry standard sized avatars
Step 2 - 2D Pattern Development
Measurements taken from the avatar are used to develop pattern blocks and those blocks will be transformed into the design you have envisioned. I can work with rough sketches, technical sketches, or reference images.
Step 3 - Initial 3D Prototype
Once the pattern is developed, I will also create or source digital materials to apply to your design, digital materials will include both physical and visual properties so we can assess both fit and style.
The 3D sample will be created in the correct materials and colourways. By previewing the design in 3D, you can ensure it meets your expectations from the start, avoiding unnecessary revisions and material waste.
